If you plan on visiting Singapore any time soon, don’t take off without a prepaid SIM card. The Singapore SIM card provides a simple, convenient, and affordable way for any traveler to make and receive those all-important calls while abroad.
The prepaid SIM card for Singapore is a practical option for using your existing world phone as a prepaid Singapore cell phone while you’re in the country at a better rate than you’d pay for a Singapore cell phone rental. It’s also a trouble-free ticket to using the same options that the Singaporeans themselves use—the local Singaporean cell phone system. The SIM chip, combined with an unlocked GSM World cell phone, helps you keep the lines of communication open without being burdened by high international roaming surcharges applicable when you use your “home” SIM card abroad. You’ll likewise benefit greatly during your travels by having your own local cell phone number in Singapore. The prepaid feature gives you complete control over your costs, and with our low domestic and international calling rates billed at just 6 second intervals after the first minute of each call, having a cell phone in Singapore is affordable for all. Access to customer service from your Singapore cellular phone is available 24 hour a day, so you’ll always have assistance with any unexpected issues or questions about your phone or card. No yearly contract, monthly charges, or credit check is involved.
Your Singapore SIM Card will require a SIM-unlocked GSM cell phone that supports the 900 and 1800 frequencies. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for your consideration. Please click here for more information.
Domestic calling rates are per minute for local outgoing calls within Singapore while you are in Singapore.

You must dial 002 followed by the country code and phone number.
To add additional airtime to your Singapore SIM card, simply purchase a “Top-Up Card” from any M1 Shop, M1 Shop Concessionaire, selected authorized distributor or convenience stores. You can choose between the following denominations:
To add the voucher, call the toll-free Balance & Top-Up number at 9760 0000 from your Singapore mobile phone while in Singapore. Follow the voice instructions and type in the 16 digit Serial Number and PIN of the Top-Up card. You will be advised of the new airtime balance in your M Card upon a successful top-up.
You can also top-up your SIM card by logging onto http://www.m1.com.sg
The Singapore SIM card has an expiration date, which is indicated on the Welcome Kit. You need to make your first outgoing call before this date. When you do so, the expiration date will be changed to 6 months from that date. One week before the expiration date, when you receive incoming calls you will hear announcements reminding you of the approaching expiration date. If your SIM card expires, your phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime will be forfeit.
