If you plan on visiting Palestine any time soon, don’t take off without a prepaid SIM card. The Palestine SIM card provides a simple, convenient, and affordable way for any traveler to make and receive those all-important calls while abroad.

The prepaid SIM card for Palestine is a practical option for using your existing world phone as a prepaid Palestine cell phone while you’re in the country at a better rate than you’d pay for a Palestine cell phone rental. It’s also a trouble-free ticket to using the same options that the Palestinians themselves use—the local Palestinian cell phone system. The SIM chip, combined with an unlocked GSM World cell phone, helps you keep the lines of communication open without being burdened by high international roaming surcharges applicable when you use your “home” SIM card abroad. You’ll likewise enjoy the benefit of SMS text messaging, voicemail, a local cell phone number in Palestine, and FREE incoming calls. The prepaid feature gives you complete control over your costs, and with our low domestic and international calling rates, having a cell phone in Palestine is affordable for all. Access to customer service from your Palestine cellular phone is available 24 hour a day, so you’ll always have assistance with any unexpected issues or questions about your calls. No yearly contract, monthly charges, or credit check is involved.

Your Palestine SIM Card will require a SIM-unlocked GSM cell phone that supports the 900 frequency. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for your consideration. Please click here for more information.

Adding Airtime

Your Palestine SIM card has an initial airtime balance of 50 NIS ($12 USD) that has been preloaded to your SIM card. Additional airtime is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes, in Palestine. Airtime vouchers are available throughout Palestine at Jawwal authorized dealers and distributors throughout the West Bank and Gaza. Airtime vouchers are available in 3 denominations:

Recharge Card Value Validity Period
50 NIS ($12 USD) 240 days
105 NIS ($24 USD) 300 days
215 NIS ($49 USD) 360 days

To add the voucher, simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When typed into the keypad of your international cell phone, the voucher will credit your SIM card the respective denomination you purchased.

Remember you do not need to purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted; you only need a recharge voucher! Your incoming calls are always completely free even when you run out of airtime.

Service Life

You Palestine SIM card is initially valid for 3 months. If you do not top-up your account within 6 months from your last recharge, your Sindibad prepaid cell phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase a new SIM card. This validity period starts the day you arrive in Palestine and turn on your world cell phone.
