Domestic calling rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Ireland from your local Ireland SIM card. All incoming calls regardless where they originate are completely free! Your Ireland SIM card allows you to choose between 2 calling plans, the default plan is the 'Standard'

EARLY BIRD PLAN

If you use your phone mostly during the day, this is the plan for you. All weekend calls cost 0.12 EUR per minute and all weekend texts cost 0.11 EUR.

NIGHT OWL PLAN

If you use your phone mostly before or after of office hours, this is the plan for you. All weekend calls cost 0.12 EUR per minute and all weekend texts cost 0.11 EUR.

Terms & Conditions

• Weekend: Midnight Friday to midnight Sunday, and all public holidays.
• Calls made to Irish landlines include calls made to landlines in Northern Ireland.
• All charges are inclusive of VAT @ 21%
• All charges are shown per minute but billed per second unless otherwise stated.

International calls

You can make international calls to anywhere in the world using your local Ireland SIM card. Rates listed below are the direct dial rates from your world cell phone and O2 Ireland SIM card.

Adding Airtime

Your Ireland SIM card will include an initial airtime balance of 10 EUR. To purchase additional credit for your SIM card, you will need to purchase Speakeasy Top Up cards. These Top Up cards may be purchased at most convenience stores, O2 dealers, tabac shops and petrol stations located throughout Ireland. Top Up cards are available at face value in 10 EUR, 15 EUR, 20 EUR, 25 EUR and 30 EUR denominations.

Remember you don’t need to purchase another Ireland SIM card when your airtime balance is depleted; you only need a Top Up card!

Service Life

If you do not recharge your SIM card balance within 12 months, your Ireland phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase a new SIM card. The 12 month period begins the day you arrive in Ireland and turn on your cell phone.
