Adding Airtime
As you use your Bahamas cell phone, the cost of the call will be deducted from your SIM card balance. As you need more airtime, you will need to add airtime vouchers to recharge your account. To recharge your local Bahamas SIM card with additional airtime, simply:
1. Purchase a airtime voucher from any tobacco shop, convenience store, petrol station or newspaper stand.
2. Scratch off the gray panel to reveal your airtime top-up pin code.
3. Follow the instructions provided
Remember that once the airtime on your local Bahamas SIM card is depleted, you do not need to purchase another Bahamas SIM card, only a recharge voucher.
Service Life
The validity of your local Bahamas SIM card will vary depending on the airtime denomination loaded. A $20 reload card will extend the validity of your prepaid SIM card for 60 days and a $50 recharge card will extend the validity of your prepaid SIM card by 120 days. If you do not add airtime to your SIM card account within the respective validity period, your local Bahamas SIM card and phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase a new local Bahamas SIM card.
