Your American Samoa SIM Card will require a SIM-unlocked GSM cell phone that supports the 1900 frequency. If you do not have your own international cell phone, we have several models available for your consideration. Please click here for more information.

Adding Airtime

Your American Samoa SIM card has an initial airtime credit of $10. Additional airtime is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes, not another SIM card, in American Samoa. These airtime vouchers are available in 3 denominations; $10, $20 and $50. Airtime vouchers are available locally in American Samoa at local convenience stores, gas stations and authorized dealers.

To add the voucher, simply scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When typed into the keypad of your international cell phone, the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective denomination you purchased.

Remember you do not need to purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher! Your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime.

Service Life

The initial $10 airtime voucher included on your SIM card will expire in 30 days after it has been added to the account. If no additional airtime is added to your American Samoa SIM card after 30 days, the account will be deactivated and any remaining airtime will be forfeit. If the local SIM card is not reactivated within an additional 30 days, the phone number will be recycled.
